We live in societies which love to created boundaries, and the reason is for power relationships. The boundaries manifest in different ways sometimes with artificial geography boundaries, like Nations, Empires or social boundaries, class axes to the hierarchy inherent nepotism, or exclusion zones, because race, creed, believe, ideology or simple class. The boundaries of the 21 Century is part of complex creation, from Rome, created the empire boundaries, after the revolt in Judea in the first century, Rome wanted to deny the inhabitant any political and geography boundary, change Jerusalem name for Aelia Capitolina (the Rome colony created by Hadrian-under control of the 10^th Legion), and the Judah Temple into Zeus Temple, and the territory into Palestine (Greek name of the Phoenicia), because the divine right for governance, Christianity and Islam, created the first define boundaries, or exclusion zones, where, in the boundary the individual are under rules. Crises in Higher Education of USA

The problem with the US higher education is not the PISA test, because the test is total irrelevant, the gate keepers, which their job is to control and maintain the hierarchy, for the elite of the specific place and time, as Dr DÁngelo, what had happen to US Education, is as business, where the objective is to published (the publishers are self-appointed to serve the elites in the hierarchy power structure): Academia is all about ambitious, vain, upper middle to upper class professionals (faculty) competing with one another for fame, recognition, power and status, and very little about learning, truth, wisdom or educating students. The education in US is over rated have consequences, the arrogance of the Economist, where the ideology forgot the first question of the Scientific Methods, is to question Authority and second to question yourself (in some way should be the first question), where Chicago Economic School since FDR created a control Mechanism to appease the working class in the 1930´s ready to establish a state based in the Soviets, but since the 1990´s when (began in the 1980´s with Regan) lifting the controls and given the economic collapse of 2008, creating a permanent under-class. The fantasy of the upper mobility in the US has come to end. But not just economics in 2000´s US felt and used September 11 an excuse and made a great political error in the global strategy with invasion of Iraq, and now the situation in Syria being dismember and the action spill to Iraq, where Iraq is 3 groups, the capricious action of the British Empire of 1900´s come to end and not help from the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, where both are self-delusional in the extreme right of both groups with Messianic disillusions.

But, is not just in global stage, but in small scale the pressure for tax monies is private resources, producing ideologies in sciences, where the managers reward, only the ones who fit their ideology-stereotype (whether Race,  Gender or Religion). This pressure have created measure ethical challenge, because the monies in case in Drugs by Pharmaceutical where not drugs produce by then have done not wrong and with consequences where patients have done from this drugs. Even in the elite science trying to supress anyone who does not follow the ideology of the day, only time, when the advocates faze out or the ideas not perform, the problem they are victims, from 2008 economic meltdown, close 2 Million Families lost their homes, Higher Education cost has become a privilege and the Republican Party (supported by Democrats) has created a global stage of chaos. 

The crises in the higher education in US is the crises of identity of the society, the free market religion has take over everything, leaving the 99% with nothing.
