According to Masur in “Until Justice will be done”, 2021(W.W. Norton Company), African Americans began with some rights in 1776 and they were strip to 1863. In her book which point out the free state of Ohio, Cincinnati, perhaps being in Southern states,  Kentucky, the laws become restrictive, many of the free states had two laws which maintain the segregation, African Americans could not testify against the white man and not mixing of the race.

But, the most significant fact to discourage was used vagrant laws, but what was in in play, if a white owner consider free his slave, he most to provide a pay to the community and proof they slave will not be burning cost to the community, the consequences was vagrants applied to the white poor, but was target to African Americans, the lazy fare Capitalism born in the fact to deny any community support, since the whites had privilege their material needs and freedoms are not in question.

The Southern Capitalism built a Slave based on color, to maintain a distinction to privilege assure not community support, included the white poor, their believe God provided them, because their privilege, included the tools access to an education, by creating standards how to be in this privilege—from the way to speaking, expectations, behavior, they defined who can be given this privilege.

While the Southern States did not hide this facts, the Northern States by believe in settle way off class defined the brutish southern behavior, when Segregation became the Law and Jim Crow become law in South, in the Northern States was settle, when desegregation was enforce, white in the US fly to the Suburban US, where they can enforced this privilege based, they were confined in private—white privilege become not just an identity, but following their living standard. The New Deal for white in US, only should be applied to them—anyone who was not Anglo-Saxon should not have any rights, the immigrations laws from 1844 against the Chinese was to set president only Anglo-Saxons have the rights—the fight about the Race history in US, was to deny such white privilege, even as un-spoken become the rule, of course the issue, because the lack of social support for healthcare, education or social support, to make sure  non-whites in US do not belong, the reason is to maintain the 200 + years of white privilege.
